Scan Construction was established in 1991 as a General Contracting Company to provide services in the field of civil engineering including building construction, decoration and steel structure works. Since its establishment the company has been managed and run by its Owner Engineer Salim Kanaan, graduate of the American University of Beirut in Civil Engineering with extensive experience in managing and executing prestigious projects in Abu Dhabi.

One of the main pillars of success stems from Scan Construction commitment to Quality, Health and Safety. Scan Construction has been ISO certified for the past 14 years and currently holds the following certifications:

  • ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System
  • ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health & Safety management System

Through dedication, hard work, and consistent on-time project delivery, Scan Construction has successfully completed over 200 projects across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, steadily establishing a strong footprint within the local contracting sector.
